Legal for Trade Approved scales (NAWI), are supplied for a variety of applications where weight may be used for a commercial transactions.
Selecting trade approved scales carries with it an onus on the user to ensure the following:
The "e" division size is suitable for the product you are weighing
The minimum weight you wish to weigh meets the range of packages
The capacity and platform size is suitable for your range of package
Manufacturer’s name and address, Type examination certificate number Metrology symbol (M)
Model Number, Serial Number, Year when machine placed on Market (MXX)
CE or UKCA Mark, Dealer Sticker as required under 2016 Weights & Measures Act.
In order to provide the best performance we supply these are built to order to comply with UK regulations and latest software releases.
Scales which have assembled columns or custom setups and weigh price labellers, may require collection dependant on configuration to ensure you have recieved suitable training on use of equipment.
All producrs that have options for approved equipment are vetted by our weighing engineers @ time of order and please use the request for "Pro-Forma Invoice" option for pro forma invoices (to avoid card charges in case of wrong machine selection), or purchase order / application requests on checkout.
We will then forward you an order acknoledgement for you to check that the details and ask you to respond we'll proceed with your order.
We currently only show a selection of these products on the website which are and some functions may be disabled on industrial units on order to comply with UK regulations.
Trade Approved Scales and balances are not off the shelf products and may take 7-10 Days from confirmation of order in order to comply with 2016 Weights and Measures act
