These custom scales have components specific to each unit to meet the criteria to meet (Non-automatic Weighing Instruments Regulations 2016) during manufacture, which then go through a second stage verification.

Selecting trade approved scales is easy, but carries with it an onus on the user to make sure you have the following:

1. The "e" division size is suitable for the product you are weighing
2. The minimum weight you wish to weigh meets the range of packages
3. The capacity and platform size is suitable for your range of package
4. Manufacturer’s name and address, Type examination certificate number Metrology symbol (M)
5. Model Number, Serial Number, Year when machine placed on Market (MXX)
6. CE or UKCA Mark, Dealer Sticker upon despatch as required under 2016 Weights & Measures Act.
