Appproved for Trade Scales

Trade or Legal for Trade Approved scales ( sometimes called LFT- NAWI), can be supplied for a variety of Industrial applications with active features to carry out repetative tasks easily for a range of packaged products from "grams to Kilograms" .
These custom NAWI (Non-automatic Weighing Instruments Regulations 2016) scales have components specific to each unit to meet the criteria to meet the patern approval and UK legislation during manufacture, which then go through a second stage verification  and calibrations sealed.
Selecting trade approved scales is easy, but carries with it an onus on the user to make sure you have the following:
  1. The "e" division size is suitable for the product you are weighing
  2. The minimum weight you wish to weigh meets the range of packages
  3. The capacity and platform size is suitable for your range of package
  4. Manufacturer’s name and address, Type examination certificate number Metrology symbol (M)
  5. Model Number, Serial Number, Year when machine placed on Market (M26)
  6. CE or UKCA Mark, Dealer Sticker upon despatch as required under 2016 Weights & Measures Act.
These are custom Trade Approved Scales,  some are built to order to comply with UK regulations and latest software releases. Scales which have assembled columns or custom setups and weigh price labellers, may require collection dependant on configuration to ensure you have recieved suitable training on use of equipment.
All Industrial products that have options for approved equipment may have some features disabled in the UK approved models,  please use the request for "Pro-Forma Invoice" option for pro forma invoices (to avoid card charges for wrong machine selection), on checkout or ask us prior to order.
We will then check that  the details and forward you an order acknoledgement for you confirm the operation of the feature you require and ask you to respond for us to proceed with your order.
Trade approved are supplied to  order and cannot ship the same day for postcode specific models, as it takes up to 7 - 10 working days for them to be verified.
It is the responsibility of the user to select equipment suitable to ensure compliance with UK and Local "Weights and Measures" operated by Trading Standards for your application, that may include;
The determination of weight for commercial transactions for declared label weight, minimum or average weight regulations.
The determination of weight for the calculation of a toll, tariff, tax, bonus, penalty, average weight,remuneration, indemnity or similar type of payment;
The determination of weight for the application of UK regulations or for an expert opinion given in court proceedings
The determination of weight in the practice of medicine for weighing patients for the purposes of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment;
The determination of weight for in medical and pharmaceutical laboratories
The determination of price on the basis of weight for the purposes of direct sales to the public and the chcking of EC Average Weight packages.
